But I wish it came in more colors so I could use it for other situations because the formula and texture are really enjoyable. The tinted version doesn't truly match my skintone (too peachy salmon) but I found it to be the most robust and tenacious in the Uvmune range.

For the small parts of skin that have to be exposed then I want robust protection (for me, preventing erythema and pigmentation/tanning on top of already being predisposed to photosensitivity and using rx retinoid daily/peels and such biannually).

I use a lot of protective gear like full body rashguards and surf hats (not just for sun exposure but things like not wanting to be stung by jellyfish etc). It's not just the climate but the situation where the light exposure is intensified just being surrounded by water (light bounce) and no environmental shade to be found. Hi! Of course! I surf regularly and often travel to places in Central and South America and the South Pacific. I am finding the new fluid to be more water resistant than the old one and P20 Kids. I also cannot wait for Mexoryl 400 to make it's way into other products. There are a lot of Evy fans in the beauty community but my water loving friends and I found it not conducive for surfing and swimming (maybe just splashing around) and the way it stings the eyes makes it impossible (SO had a bad experience with it for morning golf lessons too).

I still alternate Daylong Liposomal Extreme and P20 Kids for surfing after trying so many other water resistant claiming sunscreens (EU and AUS). Probably the more "elegant" for around the city but comparatively less robust for the beach would be the Eucerin Sun Allergy Gel Cream or Altruist Family Spray. So I think that is something else to consider!įor some more body sunscreen options this summer (are you in NYC yet these days?) then maybe look into Avene Intense Protect or Riemann P20 Kids. The other sunscreens that came out this season like the Oil Control and Pigment Control were actually supposed to come out in late 2020 alongside the Age Correct (AC untinted and tinted were the only ones that made it out in late 2020). I know L'Oreal was hit by pandemic related supply chain and labor issues just like many other companies. Mexoryl 400 and the UVMune products were worked on for years long before the current iterations we know landed on the market (as well as before they changed the name from Shaka to Invisible Fluid). You won't see it come out this quarter though because it takes time. There could be many possibilities in the future such as reformulations or iterations, entirely new products and clinical studies which are being worked on right now (I'm serious about people always working 🙃). They're always working at L'Oreal 🙃😅 the Mexoryl 400 filter is limited to the "UVMune" range at the moment which just has the popular cream and fluid most people use for the face.
